Speech Pathology

Our Speech Pathology services aim to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, including difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social skills, stuttering, and using voice. Our speech pathologists develop tailored strategies to improve communication skills, enhancing participation in social, educational, and professional environments.

Key benefits:

  • Enhances Communication Skills: Speech pathology services help individuals to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, enhancing their overall communication ability.
  • Promotes Social Engagement: Better communication skills facilitate easier social interactions, fostering social inclusion and community participation.
  • Supports Independence: By enhancing communication, speech pathology services support individuals in performing tasks independently, promoting their autonomy and self-confidence.

Speech Pathologists work with people who require support to improve their communication. When we work with children we provide modelling and strategies for their primary communication partners to use in everyday natural contexts like getting dressed, doing the shopping or walking to the park.

With adults, we support their goals with communication by developing strategies that can be used with all their primary communication partners as well.
